Recognition


The HPVA Testing Laboratory is accredited by the International Accreditation Service, INC. (IAS). IAS is an internationally recognized organization that offers accreditation to testing laboratories using ISO/IEC 17025. IAS accredited laboratories maintain a high level of quality and technical competence.

The HPVA Laboratory is recognized by the International Building Code (IBC) of The International Code Council (ICC) through IAS accreditation Listing TL-224.

The Department of Defense includes HPVA on its Defense Logistics Agency Qualified Laboratory List for fire testing (QLL No. 9927).

Peoducts listed and labeled as part of the testing and inspection program have been accepted by HUD inspectors of manufactured home and manufacturing facilities for over 30 years. The following agencies routinely recognize and accept the HPVA stamp during their inspections.

HPVA laboratory reports are accepted for use in demonstrating compliance with all model building code regulations including the International Building Code (IBC) published by the International Code Council (ICC). Results have been historically recognized by the legacy building code organizations under the Council of American Building Officials (CABO) Report No. NER-TL329 and ICBO Evaluation Service Report No. TL 224. These organizations include Internations Conference of Building Officials (ICBO), Building Officials and Code Administrators (BOCA), and the Southern Building Code Congress International, Inc. (SBCCI).
